Timeline

On this page, our activity throughout the project is shown,
 when and where we met up, gathered materials, and
our progress throughout the creation of our mural!

• November 9th, 2017: During class, we discussed our plan and how we were going to create our mural, what we were going to put on our mural, and when we were going to meet along with comparing schedules and availability.

• November 20th, 2017: Jessica gave Leah 20 dollars to buy the Multi Density Fiber boards. Leah went to Home Depot that night and bought one, just to see the size and expense. One  1/4 x 2 in. x 2in. MDF board costed $3.82, but $4.16 with tax

• November 21st, 2017: The next night, because we thought our mural should be bigger, Leah went back to Home depot and bought three more of the 1/4 x 2in. x 2in. MDF boards for $11.46, but with tax, those three came out to be $12.48.

• November 25th, 2017: Sydney, Jessica, and Leah all gathered at Leah's house and rounded up all of our materials. We then connected all four mdf boards into one and coated the whole top with white paint. We then painted an Earth with arms, legs, a hat, hands, and feet. At this point, we were about 60% done with our physical project and still needed to add the ocean and a banner across the top.

• December 7th, 2017: Sydney, Jessica, Leah, and Grace all stayed in Mr. Bursch's classroom for tutorial, and we managed to paint the ocean with a crayola blue color. We sketched "Save Our World" over the top of the mural. At this point, we were about 85% done, and all we need to do is paint "Save Our World" and assemble all four pieces of our mdf boards together.

• December 12th, 2017: Leah sketched and painted "Save Our World", added a sun with sunglasses, painted eyes and a mouth on the world, and painted a chain of people around the world representing unity. We are officially finished and we decided to keep our pieces separate to show how in the end, they can be pieced together, but like the world, it can be split as well.
